Winter Weather Styles 2009

blackjacketWhen the weather gets cold - you have to keep dressing warmer. What are the winter weather styles for 2009?

Lets start with the most important layer - a good coat. Depending on your budget a nice coat can be anywhere from $100 - $1,000. I know it is a big price range, but remember you are going to get what you pay for. When looking at winter jackets there are a few things to keep in mind. First of all, you want it to be warm - the whole point of a jacket is to keep you warm and toasty. The second thing to consider is versatility. The more versatile the jacket the better - think of it like this, a black jacket vs. a bright colored plaid jacket - which one are you going to get the most use out of? Last but not least you have to remember a flattering fit. You do not want to look like a marshmallow! Choose a style that is flattering to your figure and your pocket book.

Once you have found the perfect winter jacket the next step is to find the perfect boots. During the wintertime a good warm pair of boots can provide good insulation all winter long. Whether you go with ankle boots or knee high boots make sure they are the right fit for you. This winter boots are hotter then ever - be sure to check out all the latest styles such as tie up boots, lace up boots and even cut out shoes!

So you have the shoes and the jacket it is now time to think about the perfect winter hat. I myself am a visor bean fan. They are warm, cute and very stylish. They are also very affordable. Not only do they come in a variety of colors and styles but they are very versatile and can be worn with just about anything!

I hope these styles give you a jump-start for your winter wardrobe!

How to Enhance your breasts (without surgery)

black-bra That’s right - you read it correctly. There are ways to enhance your breasts and you don’t have to go under the knife to do it! Check out these tips to help keep you looking perky!

1. Try buying undergarments that are engineered to help support you in the same areas you would get added support from surgery. A plastic surgeon “Dr. Rey” came up with an undergarment line that provides the same support as plastic surgery.

2. Whenever possible sleep on your back. You can actually develop deep wrinkles in your chest just by the way you sleep. It is also recommended to wear sunscreen and moisturizer to prevent unwanted wrinkles. Dr. Rey goes as far as suggesting a sleep bra to prevent sagging breasts in the future.

3. If you want to down play your cup size, wear colors and shapes of clothing to draw attention away from your chest.

4. If you have a big night coming up be sure to stock up on cookies or cutlets. Cookies and cutlets are little silicone inserts that can enhance cleavage if applied to the outer area of the breasts, they can add support and lift if applied to the bottom of the breasts and over the top if you need to create that perfect shape.

5. Don’t look past the old fashion push up bra. I know what you are thinking - but we have come a long way since the original push up bra.

6. Take the time to find the prefect bra to fit with your tops. The right bra can make a big difference.

7. Don’t be afraid to add bronzer to the girls. A little bronzer can go a long way.

8. Every girl needs the perfect cleavage cosmetic. You can find them at your local Macy’s. Benefit High Beam is recommended.

Good Luck Ladies I hope these tips help!

Spring and Summer are in the Air

yellowdress Spring is right around the corner and after Spring comes Summer! Are you ready for it? I sure am! I am ready to put away the jeans and sweatshirts and start getting into my tee shirts, tank tops and capries. When I look outside the sun is shining and the trees are blooming. What do we have to look forward to this Spring and Summer?

One of the first thing that comes to mind is color! Currently on the runways there is a lot of bright pink, bright blue and you guessed it bright yellow! Bright Yellow is back and better then ever but don’t even think about pairing it with black (too eighties and you will look like a bee!) instead wear yellow with white denim, blue denim or your favorite kaki skirt.

Another trend that is hot right now is the tribal look. You know what I am talking about animal prints and chunky jewelry. But be careful not to wear too much variety you can turn out looking like a Halloween costume gone wrong!

Another trend to keep your eye out on is cropped pants. It is a cross between a Capri pant and a full-length pant. A little longer then a Capri but shorter then a regular length pant. They are short enough to show off your hot new heals or Summer sandals.

Last but not least saving money is in style! It takes a suffering economy to make this new chic trend - but it has happened! Shopping at places like Target and H & M have never been more popular. Eco friendly clothing that will stand the test of time is the best way to go. Classic summer dresses, tank tops and shorts can be found in a variety of colors and styles.

Happy Shopping!

Fall and Winter Fashion

Are you curious what is going on in the fashion world for the fall and winter seasons? Lets start with color since that always plays a big part in seasons. This fall and winter are all about the colors of jewel tones. These include colors like emerald, amethyst, sapphire and turquoise to name a few. These colors are known for their rich color and resemblance of birthstones. Along with jewel tones as always black and different hughes of grey are always welcome. These new colors are not only for clothing but make up as well!

Now lets talk about fabrics which is also what makes or breaks fashion. This season we are going back to the basics with touchable fabrics that make you look and feel your best. These fabrics include velvets, satins and laces. The more touchable the fabric the better. Ruffles and prints are in but wear with caution!

Remember tights? Well they are back and better then ever with new trendy patterns that can spark up any outfit! Tights can be worn with your favorite dress or skirt and are going to be available in a variety of colors. Colored tights are being considered a season must have for any outfit. Did you ever think you would see plaid tights on the runway? Well surprise, there is even plaid tights! Again approach this idea with caution; lets not get too carried away!

That’s it for now but stay tuned because there are always new fashion trends to report! Happy shopping!
