blackjacketWhen the weather gets cold - you have to keep dressing warmer. What are the winter weather styles for 2009?

Lets start with the most important layer - a good coat. Depending on your budget a nice coat can be anywhere from $100 - $1,000. I know it is a big price range, but remember you are going to get what you pay for. When looking at winter jackets there are a few things to keep in mind. First of all, you want it to be warm - the whole point of a jacket is to keep you warm and toasty. The second thing to consider is versatility. The more versatile the jacket the better - think of it like this, a black jacket vs. a bright colored plaid jacket - which one are you going to get the most use out of? Last but not least you have to remember a flattering fit. You do not want to look like a marshmallow! Choose a style that is flattering to your figure and your pocket book.

Once you have found the perfect winter jacket the next step is to find the perfect boots. During the wintertime a good warm pair of boots can provide good insulation all winter long. Whether you go with ankle boots or knee high boots make sure they are the right fit for you. This winter boots are hotter then ever - be sure to check out all the latest styles such as tie up boots, lace up boots and even cut out shoes!

So you have the shoes and the jacket it is now time to think about the perfect winter hat. I myself am a visor bean fan. They are warm, cute and very stylish. They are also very affordable. Not only do they come in a variety of colors and styles but they are very versatile and can be worn with just about anything!

Makeup Wear For Weddings

I am preparing for a wedding and I have been looking for the perfect makeup styles. When you are looking for proper wedding makeup I think that there is ultimately two ways to go.

The first look is to go with a more natural eye look with just mascara, some good blush and then a very lively lipstick color such as a deep red or pink. This brings all of the focus on to your lips and is considered an old school Hollywood look.

The second look, which can be considered a little more risky, involves the focus being drawn to the eyes with a darker eye makeup. If you are going for this look be sure to have a professional apply your makeup if you are not used to creating this same look for yourself. After you perfect the eyes a natural blush and a light shiny lip-gloss will top this look off very nicely.

The last thing you want to worry about on your wedding day is applying your makeup. I have decided to go to the Mac counter at my local mall. I am going to go in for a trial application and then schedule an appointment the day of the wedding.

Fashionable Eyewear for 2009

eyewear Just the other day I had an eye doctor appointment. My eye doctor informed me that I was going to need glasses. Now I knew my vision was a little blurry but I had no idea I was going to need glasses! Lucky for me eyeglasses are very stylish and some people even wear glasses just for that reason! So what is in style for eyewear for 2009? Well I decided to do some research and see what my best options would be for eyewear.

I found out that for women thick plastic frames in rectangular shapes are very popular. I have seen these styles around a lot and I think they are pretty cute. The next question that came to my mind was what style of frames would look best on me. I know what the current style trend is, but can I pull it off?

I learned that the frame you choose should match your best feature. Example if your eyes are green - look into green frames. The second thing I learned is the shape of your frames should contrast with your shape face. An example of this rule is if you have a round face a rectangular frame is recommended and vice versa. The last thing to keep in mind is the frame size should scale well with your face size.

After learning these tips I am happy to report that I have found the perfect frames!

Large Sunglasses

Well the sun is starting to come out and everyone is putting on there favorite shades. What is in style for sunglasses? Last year it was the big over sized sunglasses. I bought a couple different colors in this style! I like these sunglasses because they are very cute and flattering to a lot of different face shapes. Is this still the current trend? There are so many different shapes and sizes to choose from where do you even know where to start?

By looking at what is in the stores and online it seems that large sunglasses are still in charge. There are more variations of this style then ever before. Also you can get them in just about any color too! From white and black to maroon and blue. They come with more of a rounder look or you can have them more squarely. I like the rounder look. I think that the rounder look is a more stylish approach.

Whatever look you are after these larger shades seem to be sticking around. Next time you are in the market for sunglasses do not be afraid to try a pair on they might surprise you! I did and now I love the bigger style.
